Speakers

      • ?uestlove
      • ?uestlove is the unmistakable heartbeat of The Roots, the Grammy award-winning band. He boasts production credits for Al Green, Erykah Badu, Joss Stone, and Justin Timberlake. His uncanny ear for picking the perfect song landed him the position of musical director of "The Dave Chapelle Show" and as we all know, his beloved Roots crew now serves as house band for the NBC's "Jimmy Fallon Late Show." ?uestlove’s insatiable love of music has led him on a worldwide crate-digging journey where he has amassed a vinyl collection of more than 100,000 records. What to do with all those records? DJ, of course. ?uestlove has rocked parties that include Super Bowl Parties, Nike Grammy Awards Event, Target Winter X Games Aspen, NY Fashion Week, NBA All-Star Parties, the Sundance Film Festival and a residency at Williamsburg Brooklyn Bowl. When ?uestlove gets behind the decks, people dance until the lights come on.

      • ELEW
      • Rockjazz pianist ELEW has used the creation of his own genre with his blistering renditions of infectious rock and pop anthems by Coldplay, The Killers, Nirvana, and more.  His relentless innovation and disregard for the musical status quo has attracted the rapt attention and following of today’s biggest stars including Josh Groban, Dave Matthews, Naomi Campbell, Pete Yorn, Fendi, Dolce and Gabbana, and even the White House. Last year, ELEW toured with Josh: sixty shows at massive arenas. Now ELEW has begun to DJ. And like the improvisational acrobatics of old, but taken to a new and unprecedented level by the capabilities of electronic music, ELEW spins a gloriously anachronistic mix of past and future.

      • #MassivelyEpic
      •  he MASSIVELY EPIC DJ collective was dreamed up at Lollapalooza 2011, but fully formed during SXSW 2013. The collective's main producers/DJ's are Ravin Dave and DJ Journey. Ravin has performed and produced events at the Chevrolet Theatre, Palace Theatre, Rain Ultra Lounge, Brooklyn Bowl, and the Pilot Pen at The Emperor’s Ball. From 2006 - 2013, Dave developed his marketing career helping create national campaigns and digital strategy for brands and his versatility comes from years of experience. DJ Journey has made a significant impact on the Hollywood nightlife scene: he was the first and only resident DJ at downtown LA’s Crash Mansion, he was instrumental in creating the eclectic music vibe at the exclusive Rooftop Bar at the downtown LA Standard Hotel, and he was the brainchild of the 80’s room at Hollywood’s world famous Vanguard.
